let me know your thoughts on this situation

Silkyskillz11 [Edit] [Delete] 11:54, 22 October '15

so, one of my all time dogs is having a birthday meal/drinks in december.

he's started seeing a girl recently - not serious at the moment, but could be heading that way.

anyway, he's still very friendly with his long term ex (they hang out for coffees and stuff regularly) and he's decided it's a good idea to invite his ex girlfriend and his current chick out for the celebrations.

I asked him if he had run this by the new gf, as it could be pretty awkward. he said he's done that and she appeared ok with the idea, although she did pull a bit of a funny face apparently.

my friends reasoning for inviting both the ex and the current gf is that both of these people are important in his life...so why the fuck not. he kept saying 'one love baby' when I challenged him.

so yeah, what do you think about that? reckon it's pretty weird myself, but maybe that's my hang-up. surely it will be crazy awkward, especially for the new girl? dunno.

thoughts?
