all my files, gone.

I was going to get another one to back it up in just a few weeks. but no chance now. Took it to the shop, and they said it is 100% non-responsive.

About 1tb of music and 500gb of photos and other assorted stuff.

I have some older files, up to 2010 on an old computer, and have all 2015 things on my laptop. Everything in the middle is history.

You're not supposed to get attached to this stuff. Give it up to the cloud. But so much on there cannot be found on the cloud. I guess, if I can't remember what it was, then I didn't really need it. probably true.

feel pretty grim.
