What proportion of your clothes actually fit you?

inside-outside [Edit] [Delete] 11:24, 2 October '15

Its dress down day today and my trousers (which I bought a few weeks ago) are way too tight on my upper thighs, causing them to rub.

I bought these trousers and 3 other pairs a few weeks ago and none of them fit right. They're all 32W 32L but all fit very differently - one is too big on the waist by far, two are too tight on the thighs and the other one is a combination. (I should have tried them all on, granted, but I assumed that them being the same size that they would all fit the same - lesson learned). I ripped a pair right up my arse last year when I jumped onto a wall to impress some kids. Seems impossible to get a pair of trousers that fit my waist and my legs at the same time.

But I also own shirts that are like massive bin bags that flap about as I walk, shoes that are either slightly too big or slightly too small (cause I'm a 9.5) and two coats that don't fit right - one that I can't wear with anything other than a t-shirt underneath and another that I'd need 20 layers for me to be able to touch the edges.

This is probably all terrible planning on my part, but I feel like it must be a common thing, surely. At least for fellow primark disciples.

So yeah, do your clothes fit you?
