Hey. I know it's not common for games to have their own dedicated thread but I reckon this warrants one if any ever did.

Picked it up last night, today's working day is just going to be the longest one ever.

Played Ground Zeroes as a refresher last night, and as much as the core gameplay's been improved, there seems to be a major scaling back of the ridiculously long cutscenes/codec calls and though they've always been a bone of contention for those struggling to get into the series, I think I'm really going to miss 'em in all their campy glory.

It seems very much in the Peace Walker style rather than that of the other main games, which is my least favourite Metal Gear episode (even counting the old MSX ones) so approaching this with a bit of trepidation. Hoping it can win me round though.
