Frugal, miserly, etc.

I'm relatively carefulish with my money, but accept that there are times where you do need to fork out cash if you want something decent (e.g. suits, shoes, rent, travel) and don't begrudge doing do.

Obviously being cheap is different from not having the money to spend in the first place.
