I'm sick of shitty rented properties and their shitty falling apart furnishings.

There are a couple of OK unfurnished places I'm eyeing up but I've never looked at sorting my own furniture.

Assuming white goods are present, what am I looking at, cost-wise? £1k? £2k? Doesn't have to be top notch, but I'm not going skip diving either.
