Surely this is an acceptable time for an evening thread. Who's around on this lovely Thursday afternoon/evening, then? How are you spending it and how has your day been so far?

I'm just about to take a SATC break from doing my taxes, then have dinner and hopefully finish the whole thing before bedtime. Tomorrow preparations will begin for going to a wedding on Saturday. This will only be the second wedding that I've gone to as an adult (plus one when I was like 9 or 10 which I'm not really counting) so I'm very excited! I just really hope I won't be as sniffly and gross by then – I've had a cold all week and I'm getting well fed up with it.
