Eating stuff that's been on the floor.

saps [Edit] [Delete] 11:59, 11 November '14

My Dad was born in 1942. He says that when he was a kid if he saw a sweet on the ground he'd pick it up, suck the dirt off it, spit that out and eat the sweet. Similarly he'd find discarded fruit on the floor after market days, bite the bad bits out and eat the fruit.

I've never done either but I'll generally eat something that I've dropped on the floor. Depends who's watching though, I guess. And whether I dropped it that day or not.

There's shades of grey I suppose, I mean I wouldn't eat a fruit polo that I'd dropped if it rolled into a dog turd and then a cat pissed on it. Especially not if people were watching. And especially not if it was an orange one.

Use this thead to talk about eating stuff that's been on the floor or to talk about which Thundercat could beat up which Transformer or whatever it is you young people talk about.
