Getting over someone

in_wainbows [Edit] [Delete] 23:16, 9 November '14

I don't want this to be a down thread but basically... I've just out found some unpleasing news (affecting me) that I've spent the past year hoping wouldn't be the case, about someone I'm interested in. It's not a huge deal... it's just a bit of a shock. How do you make this feeling go away?

This person isn't going out with someone else, it's just that I thought I'd see her again (in a year), but now it seems 98% likely that I won't. That kind of thing.

It's not a big deal really and it's something I was gonna have to know about it anyway. But anyway, how do you rapidly get over someone if you have some sort of odd, mystical emotional attachment to them that's developed over time?
