Tried to prepare an artichoke, totally cocked it up but even if I hadn't there'd have been so little to it that it wouldn't have been worth the hassle (hence the thread title). It's best just to use the tins. List things and together we can eradicate the hassle. This feels familiar, maybe I've started something like this before.
