Affordable Active Noise Cancelling Headphones

yuggy [Edit] [Delete] 10:16, 15 October '14

as a follow up to my tinnitus thread, I've noticed online a lot of people with tinnitus saying don't use in ear bud phones as it goes straight to your eardrum and can be bad even if you have it quiet.

I've been using Sennheiser passive headphones for ages which do an ok job of blocking out noise but aren't quite good enough, I can only really crank the ipod to 60% max so still doesn't quite do the job when out in noisy areas.

Really paranoid about making my tinnitus worse which is weird cos i sort of didnt give a shit over the last year or two, just lived as normal and made sure to protect at gigs.

So anyway, point is, any affordable under £100 active noise cancelling can's you recommend? No obnoxious designs, like big colourful wanker ones plz or nasa space rubbish.
