I work in a popular London pub. The other day, someone who was quite drunk lit up a cigarette at the bar and was quickly thrown out.
I am of a generation in which I have never really known a smoky pub, club or anything. Could people genuinely smoke anywhere? Restaurants? Churches? Hospitals? Was there any ettiquette? Do you prefer the current system? What was the changeover like?
