Advice on freelancing

Smee [Edit] [Delete] 15:45, 20 August '14

What's your advice on taking on a bit of work that you haven't got that much experience to back up and therefore you don't KNOW you can do a good job on?

Been offered this thing tomorrow morning which is out of comfort zone, but would open a door to someone who would have loads of more appropriate work for me in the future. Is it good just to show willingness and get them out of a spot of bother as they need someone last minute? But what if I do a bad job and leave a bad impression?

It also means I'd have to work all night tonight on something else to make time for it and go to fucking Ivybridge first thing tomorrow morning.
