series you've struggled to keep up with because of time skips, mass cast/set changes, sudden drops in quality, other reasons...

not even sure this is a thing, but i'm struggling a bit with series four of Mad Men. i mean, it's very good, but it feels a bit weird in new surroundings, though i can see the logical steps in the script. just kinda seems everything's moved on a bit too quickly, surprised to see it's set only a few months later. the dialogue's comes across as a bit forced. idk, i've not really asked The Internet what the Mad Men peak was, but i'm quickly suspecting it may have been series three.
