The Secret History of Our Streets

TheWza [Edit] [Delete] 15:45, 4 August '14

Series one did six London streets and was dead good.

Series two is doing three Scottish city Streets, in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen.

Part two: Duke Street in Dennistoun, Glasgow was on last Friday. Watch it here: www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b04bzppg

It's a pretty good account. Creates a slightly simplistic narrative about the differences between north and south of the Street. But that's kinda understandable for a one hour programme that need a narrative, I guess.

The bit where they talk about Buffalo Bill was filmed in my garden (my flat is on the site where Bill pitched up). I knock about with the beardy architect guy and his wife. Was having a lunch/picnic of sorts with the rector woman last month.
