Would you ever hack/cheat in an online game

in_wainbows [Edit] [Delete] 20:38, 3 August '14

I'm playing an online game (Simpsons Tapped Out) which has some 'premium' items that can be bought with in-game currency (donuts). However, donuts are extremely rare and the only way you can get enough is by purchasing them with real money. I'm considering whether or not I should do this hack which gives you 100,000s of donuts for free. But that's kinda... cheating, and even though it's just a game, I'm not sure it's ethical. The hack also gives you 100,000s of in-game dollars, but making dollars is the main point of the game.

I'm not sure whether to hack the game, or go about it the honest way and spend real cash to get enough donuts required to get the 'limited time' items which expire TOMORROW.

Have you ever cheated/hacked in a game?
