when to hand my notice in for my shit temp job

icouldwinarabbit [Edit] [Delete] 15:12, 15 July '14

alright, i'm going to be finishing at the end of september because i'm going to fuck off to borneo to be a really great gal (https://www.justgiving.com/hannah-weddle/) anyway, i was wondering when would be the best time to tell them that i was fucking off

my job is pretty long term temp, but they do just get rid of people quite often and i couldn't afford to not be working for any longer than i currently am, especially since i'm probably gonna be on the dole when i get back.

would it be better to let them know earlier and stay in the good books so i can give them a ring when i get back and try and get a similar job back (probs unlikely). this would mean i'd be able to tell all the people who love my amazing jokes and bants that i am going and harvest CHARITY MONEY from them. OR should i tell them a week before and fuck the fuck off to cuddle an orangutan/do some heavy labour i am unqualified for?

bonus question: which do you like best orangutans or proboscis monkeys? i like proboscis monkeys best because they look like they have balls on their faces NEXT
