How do you deal with bullies who've been injected into your circle of friends?

dont_fart [Edit] [Delete] 17:03, 19 April '14

~ friends of friends you don't like much, who are impossible to avoid because they're ALWAYS glued to your true friends. Do you just put up with them and pent up your anger? I'm not sure how much more of it I can take. It's like I can't even tell my real friends because they'll probably defend the bully and say 'it's all in your mind'. It fucking isn't. And it's like I NEED to get drunk in order to enjoy myself whenever I'm in the presence of these people.

The types of personality concerned are:

Smug people who are really up themselves, who always get away with belittling those they deem inferior.

Bitchy, gossipy people who like to ask probing questions about your personal life, who are very, very socially manipulative and are good at alienating people they don't like (for unjustified reasons) from the group, who ALWAYS get their way by throwing tantrums, who everyone is secretly scared of.

Shallow people who always openly evaluate other people's appearances and remind you have how apparently average-looking you are by going on and on endlessly about someone who's supposedly 13 out 10.
