Finally a TEFL thread

shrewbie [Edit] [Delete] 11:08, 17 April '14

some of you have taught english abroad how did you go about it?
i currently have no relevant qualifications, looking at those 140 hour courses. if you've done a tefl type course in the uk then how was it and how helpful were they with finding you somewhere to work afterwards?
what about the overseas courses?
also looking at those paid internships which are no good if you wanna save money but might be a good way of meeting people etc. and probably less overwhelming, how easy is it to get 6 months employment off the back of a 6 month internship? there's probably a thing about visas and stuff.
i'm specifically talking about south east asia but i'd like to hear all your experiences.
racists please keep quiet
