Ignoring petty and manipulative behaviour

Smee [Edit] [Delete] 11:18, 16 April '14

You know sometimes you have colleagues (or other people you have to deal with, if you like - go nuts) who are really petty and argumentative, but in a really passive way so it never looks like they are being? They say things all the time that are just ever so slightly wind-up-y, or highlight things you've done they disagree with in a really non-confrontational but, after a while, blatantly mocking and I-told-you-so kind of a way.

Maybe this is too specific idk. Obvs thinking of a specific person.

My point is anyway, when people act like dickheads and you know the best thing is just to ignore it - how do you stop it getting to you? I find myself wanting to come back with a cutting response, or something equally passive aggressive. But I know the thing to do is just let them get on with it and rise above it. BUT I HATE IT
