I hate flying, too much of a hassle, looking forward to getting shitfaced on the boat and freezing my bollocks off on the top deck. What is the ferry experience like these days?

What places are good in Dublin that aren't a complete rip off to get shit faced in. Only there for Thursday night then sodding off to Galway for two nights. A preference for guitar related music, but not too fussed loik. I hate touristy club/bar type places.
