I'm looking for the perfect chili sauce - bellendry welcome ITT

Smee [Edit] [Delete] 09:34, 24 March '14

I'm not satisfied with any of the chili sauces on the market that I know of. I mean they're all delicious but I want something that I haven't found. I *think* that something is a sauce that just tastes of chili, gives you a nice sharp zing without too much else competing with it, and can be used in many many circumstances.

Knowns:

Thai Sweet Chili - amazing for certain dishes but very sweet and not that spicy
Sriracha - love this but it is basically spicy heinz tomato ketchup
Hot Pepper (Encona) - again, love it, but it has a strong vinegar flavour
Tobasco - top performer in its own very narrow field
Some kind of Jamaican Chili Sauce I bought for about 40p - somewhere between spicy ketchup and extra sweet factory made jam
Chipotle - it's smoky more than it is spicy
Reggae Reggae - brown sauce with chili in it, great for chips and other potato products but little else
