i bought a game of thrones years ago (2009?) but the first two or so chapters were so boring I left it. never went back, even though my brother read it, loved it, and bought every book of the series. anyway, i thought i'd try it again about two weeks ago and this time round, i fucking loved it. finished each book in a day of obsessive reading and now it's over ;___; tried the tv show though, and didn't even finish the first episode. hardly anyone looks as they do in the books. been looking stuff up for the next book (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Winds_of_Winter) and there's a tyrion excerpt just out. a bit annoyed about all the greyjoy chapters that will be in the book, fuck those greyjoys
