A thread about flights

LordLuciusBanter [Edit] [Delete] 16:08, 18 March '14

Alright pals.

Dead dull thread, feel free to chip in.

Basically my missus has to go to America (Philly) for a wedding in July. We were going to book flights in Jan but I rather selfishly lost my job. Just about on par again but now all the flights are astronomical - like prices I would hark at paying to go to Australia for (£800+). Currently even with her uncle's BA discount its £600.

Looked at every possible airport around (NYC, DC, Boston all pretty close) but it seems ludicrous.

The question is, do flight prices ever come back down again? I mean it's like 4 months away and the prices are double what I usually pay.

do flight prices ever come back down after they've gone up?

Feel free to talk about other flight related things here too
