If you weren't personally famous but had done something really famous, how often would you tell people about it?

I met the guy who played that super famous saxophone part in Baker Street last night. He brought up about 15 seconds into the conversation, wasn't at all embarrassed about doing so.

He's probably quite bitter about it I guess, coming up with the signature part of a hit record and getting zero royalties. Just watched the video and he barely features. During his big moments there's just shots of the drummer's face in close up and cut aways of people walking down the street :D Poor bastard
