Question for the MME

cheeseandbaconturnov [Edit] [Delete] 11:47, 3 October '13

Myself and my special lady friend are considering a move to Manchester next year but save for a good few nights out in the city centre and a couple of parties many years ago in Didsbury & Chorlton (and a good friend who lives in Heald Green), we don't really know too much about where is good and affordable to live.

We would be ideally looking for an area which has good public transport links to the centre, and somewhere we could get a 2 bed house or flat for £500 to £600. Would be nice to have an area with a few nice pubs, things to do etc.

The only consistent advice i can find on the internet after a brief search is not to live in Wythenshawe.

Cheers in advance!
