weekly, fortnightly or monthly pay; which do you prefer?

mala [Edit] [Delete] 00:02, 27 September '13

sort of influenced by the other thread, i was having a casual conversation with someone recently where i was saying that i prefer to be paid weekly because i never find myself short of cash that way, irrespective of my hefty salary. i get paid, put some aside for the bills, buy the basics, then pretty much get pissed until about Tuesday, then it's nearly Friday again.

the person i was saying this to, a mate, got really offended and weirdly uptight, saying stuff about how it's only really possible and at all convenient for an adult to be paid monthly, as most essential bills come out monthly. hmmm.

seemed a bit weird to me that someone would have such a mental block. very easy to just earmark money for stuff. could understand if someone had a massive skag addiction or something, but this guy was just being a big baby. very weird.

anyway, i've no more elaborate back story. so just want to know, in words rather than a compulsory ^thissing contest, when you'd prefer to be paid of the three acceptable methods. obviously no-one really gets paid daily nowadays, or less regularly than once a month, asuming you're employed.

shoot...

(Boring Wanker points on offer for anyone who goes into unecessary detail about work they have on the side teaching slow kids, designing gig posters, writing a blog, or generally doing other stuff which ISN'T A JOB).
