one of my pals said this to me once, and its something that has stuck with me ever since.

it means - lovers come and go, jobs, whatever - but your good pals should be there for life.

there is no crime that your friends commit (other than sleeping with your mum) that cannot be forgiven. so what if your friend is a bit bigoted? big deal that he gets pissed up and starts fight! oh, right, he's a thoughless cunt. SO WHAT!

i have had some MASSIVE fallings out with my dogs over the years - borderline fistycuffs etc, but ultimately, dog love never dies.
