I don’t think it’s that music enthusiasts are more likely to be politically on the left as I have some mates who are music obsessives who are very right wing.

Neither do I think it’s because of the age range, as most people here seem to be late twenties to early thirties.

Also, I just went on a stag do last weekend with a bunch of early 30s friends and I spent a large chunk of it defending “the left” as they were almost all right wing and had shit, stupid opinions about everything (in my opinion of course).

So what is it that makes DiS such a liberal, left leaning forum? Did someone lead the charge and now the snowball has rolled so much, the likes of CG are vilified for not being lefty?
