I just made a smoked haddock chowder for late lunch. Absolutely banging it was. Whizzed up two thirds of the sweetcorn (fresh off the cob too) with the milk which gave it a really great flavour, plus the fish and bacon helps in that department too obvs.

Used to be well into my butternut squash, coconut and chilli soup, got a bit bored of that one now though. Got the recipe for that one from a restaurant I used to work in in Manchester where it was the soup of the day, every day. Sometimes people would give it the serious Garlic? Bread? treatment when you told them.
