I know there are a few teachers knocking about on here - anyone got any tips for the newly qualified amongst us? Started with my Year 6 class on Thursday (thinly veiled 'new job' post). Enjoying the time with them but spending the rest of my waking hours in absolute meltdown at the moment, I'm not getting enough sleep and seem to be working enough hours to be in breach of some sort of human rights convention. In particular I'm having trouble turning the school's skeletal 'Medium term' plans into actual lessons.

Thinking about binning it all off and playing Cookie Clicker all day.
