Some pretty interesting/big things happened at the weekend, with Bayern lifting the Super Cup, Liverpool beating United to go top (!), Arsenal's narrow north London derby win sparking some incredibly tedious banter on my Gooner/Spurs-dominated Facebook feed, and Gareth Bale finally completing his world-record transfer to Real Madrid.
