What's the point of 'small print'?

GayGuevara [Edit] [Delete] 13:59, 29 August '13

Is it *just* the hope you won't bother reading it and sign your life away because you couldn't be bothered to squint, or is there more too it?

If it is is just exploiting laziness, I can almost understand it when it's on printed documents, but when you're reading a policy online its pointless because you can just zoom in.

I'm currently looking for bicycle insurance and am reading these terms and conditions: http://www.cycleguard.co.uk/documents/TCF/CycleUrbanPolicyWording.pdf

What size font is that?! 6? 4?

Pricks.

Hmmm, interesting...
