Has anyone ever done this? Seems like it would be pretty easy to park up in Horley somewhere and walk down. Are they wise to people doing that? I can see from Google Maps that the immediate surrounding area seems to be permit holders only, but once you get a mile or so away, it seems to be free parking in most of the housing areas. Don't want to get caught out, obviously, so has anyone tried this before?

If it's not possible, I'll probably find somewhere in Crawley or something and get a cab.
