So in a move which she described as 'the best thing that has ever happened to me!' Undiagnosed Spazz Caitlin Moran has encouraged people to stay off Twitter for 24 hours in support of her and her friends and her book.

You can see all the replies to celebrities that are doing it on her timeline, and if a celebrity she really likes is getting involved she announces it to everyone along with messages like 'my life is flashing before my eyes' and 'I'm doing it! I'm doing a THING!'

When she signs back in at the stroke of midnight after a day of playing Candy Crush Saga she's going to receive an outpouring or earnest congratulations for her tremendous feat, some of which she'll RT, as long as they're famous and not a spazz, mong or tranny or bum-boy I suppose

Whilst I obviously don't disagree with her cause, I think she's a rotten spokesperson for it. To me she is indicative of some of the worst aspects of Twitter - the circle-jerk echo chamber mentality that perverseness discourages free thought and actively promotes mob rule and suppression of views. That plus the fact she blocks anyone that disagrees with her to ensure she never has to justify her abusive language.
