Questions about last-minute stuff when organising a stag do.

theguywithnousername [Edit] [Delete] 14:24, 30 July '13

It's my brother's stag do this weekend, which I've organised. Generally I think it's in hand. I know where we're going (Brighton), I've booked somewhere to stay, booked things to do, booked restaurants and got the money from nearly everyone. But I've now reached the point where I'm panicking about stuff that will go horribly wrong. So questions:

a) Is it a bit OCD to ring restaurants and check they've got the booking (given they took the booking and confirmed the details on the phone a week weeks back)? There's 16 of us so it's going to be a bit of a fucker trying to find somewhere to seat us if we've not booked...

b) Is it a bit OCD ring the hotel and check they've got our booking? I'm thinking the answers yes here since I've got email confirmation already.

c) I may not have entirely told the restaurants we're a stag do. We're not going to be wearing anything hugely daft so do you reckon it'll be okay or is this another thing to panic about?

d) What sorts of things go horribly wrong on stag dos that I may not have planned for yet?
