Labour paid no corporation tax last year despite being in surplus for its sixth year, the party’s annual accounts revealed yesterday.

GayGuevara [Edit] [Delete] 10:42, 26 July '13

Three months after Ed Miliband criticised irresponsible tax avoidance, it has emerged that his party reduced its corporation tax bill from £561,000 to zero by offsetting expenses and tax losses held over from 2011.

The Tories by contrast paid £521,000 tax in 2012 after generating £1.46 million pre-tax profit.

And don't forget the poor old Lib Dems whose corporation tax bill was only £15, following a profit of £66 on their investments and commercial activities.
