Do you ever think you were born in the wrong year?

I sometimes wish I was born in 1983, rather than 1993. I would have been in my late teens/early 20's in the late 90's/early 00's. Back then, pop-punk was the thing that everyone (on TV/in films at least) was listening to, dancing to at parties etc rather than shitty EDM. I would have been old enough to have an awesome time and actually remember the millennium. I would have graduated university in 2004, before the economic fuck up where it probably would have been easier to get a job and a career afterwards. Pretty much all my favourite music from almost every genre was released back then. Evolving technology actually seemed exciting back then, rather than now where new developments just seem either pointless or occasionally a little bit sinister. Mainstream video games were so much better then too, before COD and Assassins Creed started dominating the market. I dunno, maybe I'm looking back on my childhood with rose tinted spectacles and think on all the awesome stuff I missed because I was too young while forgetting the perks of being my age in the present.

Anyone else wish they were born at a different time?
