Did your school let you out beyond the school grounds at lunchtimes?

TheWza [Edit] [Delete] 11:35, 12 July '13

Mine didn't. Because it wasn't a hive of anarchy and liberal wishy washy values where anything goes.

If we wanted to go beyond the bounds of our child-prison we had to apply for an Exeat (look it up, you plebscum). Quite right, too.

We're talking 11-16 age*. Sixth form doesn't count. Sixth form college (for those who went to one of those dodgy schools without a sixth form) obviously doesn't count - anything goes in those pretend uni things.

*Lord o' mercy, please tell me I'm right in assuming all primary schools keep their pupils behind bars up for the full duration of a school day.
