Businessman's lunch

PickledOeuf [Edit] [Delete] 13:40, 2 July '13

Going for one of these shortly (let's ignore the fact that it should be called Businessperson's lunch and move on to the food.)

These can be really great value sometimes and some restaurants are really good at giving you a decent selectoin (and without ridiculous supplements for things like steak or seafood.)

Good examples-
the Ho Wong, Glasgow (where I'm going today. Last time I was here it was a tenner for two courses and twelve for three. Absolutely brilliant food. I expect prices will have gone up a bit in three years but will report back.)

Chaopraya, Glasgow, manchetser and Liverpool. Lovely surroundings, brilliant selection, great food, reasaonably priced.

Quo Vadis Soho, two courses for £17.

Amarone (Italian) Glasgow and Edinburgh- two course £14.

you can also talk about pre-theatre/ other set menus in here if you like. let's have some more examples.
