Here's my afternoon yesterday:

4:20 - Cycled home from work in pouring rain, got in shower to warm myself up

4:40 - left wet clothes in pile, sat on sofa in dressing gown half-watching tennis, half-checking phone

7:00 - hadn't really moved from sofa, probably checked Twitter about 25 times, forgot to make dinner

7:25 - gf arrived home so I snapped out of it

This zombified state of staring at glowing rectangles happens to me a lot if I'm on my own in the house. I want to know I'm not alone
