WINE THREAD

hip_young_gunslinger [Edit] [Delete] 14:29, 24 June '13

I want to talk about wine. Do you drink much of it? Do you only have it with meals in restaurants, or do you drink it home, or even down the pub? Do you reckon you can tell one grape from another? How much would spend on a bottle?

According to that, wine tasting is all bollocks. I've done a tasting before, and it was a very enjoyable evening, and by the end of it, I was definitely able to distinguish between things I liked and didn't like, and stand out characteristics - however, I couldn't tell you what was expensive and what wasn't, and part of me does wonder if it's all a con. What say you?
