The disk can't be read by my macbook and it wants me to reformat it. Before doing so I want to try and recover as much data (principally my entire music collection) as possible. Most of the music I have as physical copies but a lot of it was digital promos and stuff like that (writing etc...) so it would be a real ballache to recover it all. It's a 320gb transcend which was partitioned into three volumes and all of them have apparently vanished. Diskutil has not been successful and was up until late last night trying every fix I could find on mac forums before coming to the conclusion that it's gone. At present using Remo Recover to scan to see if anything is salvageable but would welcome other hints and tips.
