due to the numerous issues with my current flat, I've had a lot of repairmen round doing work over the last few months and it's a bit awkward.

They come in and we address the problem then they go to fix it and I sort of hover there thinking "Will they think I'm rude if I just bugger off and leave? Or am I being weird because I'm basically standing here watching them work?".
Ultimately I always leave them but then they sort of wander through the house saying "Hello??" when they're done and I have to leap out my bedroom and talk to them again.

I always offer them drinks but they always say no.

Awkward.
