Charity collectors

Yeah, been done loads of times I'm sure. But it's a thread regarding moaning, and I know how you all love to do that.

The worst ones are those that go down the street knocking doors just after you get back from work (you know, if you live on the 'right' side of town like me).

At work or through mates, I'm always putting cash in charity things for someone doing this and that, or for dress-down day or whatever.

I gave that excuse to one of the door-to-door people as a reason I didn't want to sign up to a direct debit, and he said that it isn't really helping and they need regular donations to make a difference. It's the way he said it though, really patronising. Or the ones that when you say no, start up with "Oh, so you don't care about abandoned donkey's then?' Really rude. I didn't ask you to knock on my door and insult me - piss off.

I think from now on I just won't answer the door.

Anyone going to own up to having done it?
