Adobe to make all their programs cloud and subscription based only

vamos [Edit] [Delete] 23:29, 8 May '13

Any of you creative types bothered? Following macs decision to stop cd drives, Adobe are now making their packages £50 a month to subscribe to and it'll all be done via cloud technology.

Presume a lot of folks will try and run their CS5/6 discs into the ground. Also, wonder how secure this'll be. Plus surely this is hugely reliant on a great net connection.

Thoughts? As a casual, once every so often home user (I use them everyday at work) it seems like a waste of £600 a year. I also realise I am now one of those old fuckers who is scared of tech changing.
