I went for a meal with my flatmates the other day, and this one flatmate in particular decided to eat her burger with a knife and fork, which is a bit weird, but okay, it kinda has a logic to it i guess. anyway, after watching her fail to cut through it, we encouraged her to pick it up and eat it with her hands, but she held it in such an awkward way that after two bites the whole inside of the burger fell onto the plate. She then kept on eating the burger bun anyway, and we had to convince her to stop eating it and fix the burger. What followed was about fourty five minutes of her really slowly eating it, with stuff falling out all the time because she refused to hold it any differently/use the knife and fork, and when her plate was taken away there was still loads of stuff on it and it was just a mess. Apparently she eats burgers too and it wasn't her first time or anything? I still don't really understand what happened.
