I've seen maybe an episode at some point last year and then half of one last night.

It didn't appeal to me, yet people from all walks of life and people with really different interests to one another all seem to share a love for this show.

It's odd, because this is the kind of thing I should like. Am I missing something? Do you have to have watched it from episode 1 to get into it?
