bar the high-profile shit like Boardwalk Empire, Man Men (heh), Treme, Breaking Bad, and the better-known Scandi stuff which you've all seen because the Guardian dictates what you watch - The Killing, Borgen, The Bridge, maybe Bergmann, etc, has there been any other properly decent stuff that we might not have seen, say, over this year and last?

i watched the first episode of that Arne Dahl series on BBC4 last night. like it. looks like it might be a bit more standard police drama than The Killing, etc, but still pretty good.

also going to get into that Kelsey Grammar one, and House of Cards.
