Yeah, it's been done before, but there wasn't much pick-up, so here's another attempt.

So I'm thinking of buying a new guitar to treat meself for my birthday - Does anyone have any good suggestions for a good guitar shops in London?

I know Denmark St is the guitar shop mecca, but I hear mixed things about the shops there, the charicature being that they're shitholes run by elitist wankers selling to overpriced guitars to tourists. I suspect that's an exaggeration.

Basically I want a place where I can spend a hour or two trying out a few semi-hollowbody electric guitars costing up to £400 - Epiphones and the like, essentially. Any suggestions would be very welcome :)
